About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and analytical Trade Compliance Analyst to support our import and trade compliance activities in Indonesia.

Reporting to the Trade Compliance Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Indonesian customs, import, export, and trade regulations. Working closely with customs brokers, logistics providers, suppliers, government authorities, and internal stakeholders, you will help facilitate compliant and efficient import operations while minimising business risk.

About You

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience supporting Indonesian import operations and customs clearance.

  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs, import, export, and trade regulations.

  • Experience working with customs brokers and regulatory authorities.

  • Knowledge of tariff classifications, import licensing requirements, and trade compliance processes.

  • Strong analytical and research skills.

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.

  • Experience within manufacturing, engineering, mining, rail, industrial, or logistics environments will be highly regarded.

  • Knowledge of Incoterms and international trade requirements.

  • Experience working with customs brokers, logistics providers, government agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the Position

  • Support and manage import compliance activities for Indonesia.

  • Liaise with customs brokers and monitor broker performance.

  • Coordinate customs clearances and resolve import-related issues.

  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders.

  • Review and maintain tariff classifications and related product documentation.

  • Conduct pre-shipment compliance reviews and verify import documentation.

  • Identify permit, certification, and licensing requirements.

  • Maintain accurate trade compliance records and documentation.

  • Support responses to customs audits, inquiries, and compliance reviews.

  • Coordinate with engineering, sourcing, logistics, finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.

  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen trade compliance processes and controls.
