Job Title: Electrician

Hourly Pay: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Thursdays) Competitive rates include £17.95/hr (Day Shift), £23.93/hr (Night Shift),

Location: Larne, NI

The Opportunity

Join our team as an Electrician and play a key role in building and assembling high-quality electrical systems for industry-leading products. Working from complex schematic drawings, you'll be responsible for wiring, installations, panel connections, and electrical fit-out activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and workmanship.

What You Will Do:

  • Read and interpret complex schematic drawings to plan assembly methods and sequencing.

  • Carry out a range of electrical assembly activities, including wiring, installations, terminations, panel connections, cable tray and ladder rack installation, conduit fitting, and crimping on gensets and enclosures.

  • Safely operate a variety of power tools, hand tools, and associated equipment.

  • Identify and report equipment faults, malfunctions, or defects.

  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and compliance standards.

  • Support and maintain 5S principles and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Demonstrate behaviours aligned with our Values in Action and maintain high standards of professionalism.

  • Provide training and support to colleagues as required.

  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • A recognised Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent electrical qualification.

  • Proven experience in electrical assembly and installation, including wiring, terminations, panel connections, cable tray and ladder rack installation, conduit fitting, and crimping.

  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment, with previous exposure to lean manufacturing principles being advantageous.

  • Ability to work to defined production schedules and process times while maintaining high standards of quality.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering work right first time.

  • Comfortable working at height and within enclosed workspaces where required.

  • A strong commitment to health, safety, and quality, with a proactive approach to maintaining safe working practices.

  • Basic computer literacy would be beneficial, although full training can be provided.

  • Flexibility to work a range of shift patterns and undertake reasonable overtime to support business requirements.

Additional information:

  • The electrician role is subject to a 4% hourly pay increase effective 1st October 2026, updating the hourly day shift rate to £18.67p/h and hourly night shift rate to £24.89p/h.

  • Uniform and PPE will be provided

  • Overtime opportunities may be available on Fridays, subject to business requirements
