Caterpillar's Excavation Division (part of the Construction Industries Segment) is responsible for the design and manufacture of tracked and wheeled excavators in sizes ranging from 11 to over 90 metric tons, along with Cat Work Tools. As an HR Generalist supporting Excavation Division, you will serve as a trusted partner by assisting with division-wide HR processes and issues, including things like automation/AI for HR, headcount governance, and organizational effectiveness. This role also provides HR Partner support to the Global Director of Aftermarket & Services. In this dynamic role, you'll help shape a positive employee experience while supporting business goals through thoughtful people solutions.

In this role, you will:
Build EXD’s capability in automation and AI for HR, working across processes to find opportunities and implement solutions.
Analyze workforce trends and recommend solutions that support business objectives.
Partner with leaders to drive talent, engagement, performance, and workforce initiatives.
Help lead organizational and people-related change initiatives.
Foster an inclusive, positive workplace culture where employees can grow and succeed.
Build trust and serve as a key resource for employees and leaders.
Make recommendations to senior management on issues concerning employees, recruiting, turnover or training.
Conduct organizational effectiveness assessments and recommend programs to address issues
What You Will Have
Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
HR: Policies, Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies regarding human resources management.
What Will Set You Apart
Demonstrated experience and interest in learning and applying AI and automation tools and technologies to improve efficiency, support data-driven decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
Experience using data, metrics, and insights to identify trends, inform recommendations, and influence decision-making.
Demonstrated ability to build strong, trusted relationships with leaders and influence decisions without direct authority.
Experience identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing solutions that simplify work, enhance employee experience, and improve operational efficiency.

This position is located in Singapore.
This position requires working onsite five days a week.
