For our “Legal Department”, we are looking for a

Senior Corporate Counsel (m/f/d)

Location: Mannheim

Your responsibilities as part of our team:

  • Act as trusted legal advisor to Vice Presidents, General Managers and senior business leaders on strategic and operational matters and provide clear, business-oriented recommendations while assessing associated legal risks
  • Manage and coordinate dispute resolution, litigation and external counsel where required
  • Support compliance programs and ensure alignment with legal, regulatory and corporate governance requirements
  • Advise on a broad range of commercial and corporate legal matters including sales, procurement, competition, dispute resolution, product regulatory and compliance issues
  • Contribute to strategic planning initiatives while providing practical support on day-to-day legal matters

Your profile – what you should bring:

  • Admission to practice law in an EEA jurisdiction, preferably Germany or Switzerland
  • Significant post-qualification experience in commercial and corporate law gained in an international law firm and/or multinational company
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate complex legal and business risks and recommend practical solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear business advice
  • Highly organized and adaptable professional with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Recognized as a trusted advisor with the ability to build strong relationships and credibility with senior business leaders
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing external counsel and cross-functional teams
  • Business-fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken

Base Minimum Pay:

128.062,00 €

Please note that salary is only one component of the total compensation and benefit package available at Caterpillar.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
