What you will do:
Ensure the proper operation, integration, and optimization of laser cutting machines and automated presses within the production line, while potentially leading and coordinating a team of engineers. The role guarantees operational continuity, product quality, and process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the operation and performance of laser cutting machines and automated presses on the production line.
Ensure proper integration of equipment with automated systems, feeders, robots, and conveyor systems.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues, coordinating with maintenance, engineering teams, and external suppliers.
Lead and support line start-ups, changeovers, and process validations.
Optimize process parameters to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality.
Ensure compliance with technical specifications, manufacturing standards, and safety requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (kaizen, downtime reduction, OEE improvement).
Document processes, adjustments, incidents, and corrective actions.
Train and mentor operators, technicians, and junior engineers.
Coordinate and potentially manage a team of engineers, including task assignment, technical guidance, and performance follow-up.
Participate in and/or lead the introduction of new equipment, technologies, and automation solutions.

Basic Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or related field).
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in automated manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated experience in:
CNC laser cutting equipment
Automated presses or stamping systems
Integration of automation systems (robots, PLCs, sensors, conveyors)
Technical Knowledge
PLC programming and troubleshooting (preferred).
Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic diagrams.
Industrial automation and control systems.
Metal cutting and stamping processes.
Continuous improvement tools (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma is a plus).
Performance metrics (OEE, scrap, downtime).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Equipment uptime/availability
Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Downtime and failure reduction
Scrap and rework levels
Team performance and project execution (if applicable)
Compliance with quality and safety standards
Top candidates will also have:
Experience in leading projects or coordinating engineering teams is strongly preferred.
Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
