Job Summary:
The Software Asset Management (SAM) Senior Analyst is a key individual contributor responsible for ensuring enterprise-wide software license compliance and optimizing software asset utilization. This role involves conducting in-depth analyses of software usage and contractual entitlements, producing Effective License Position (ELP) reports using Flexera, and driving remediation efforts to maintain compliance.
The SAM Senior Analyst will also serve as a strategic liaison between internal Software Owners and the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) team, supporting software lifecycle activities including contract renewals, end-of-life (EOL) identification, and associated remediation planning. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure software assets are managed efficiently and in alignment with organizational goals.
What You Will Do:
- Lead team of resources to load and manage Flexera entitlements, create Effective License Position and remediation activities.
- ServiceNow Model Table Management and Software Catalog Management
- Software Usage & Optimization, analyze software usage reports to identify underutilized applications and establish removal rules for infrequently used software to optimize license usage and reduce costs.
- Process Improvement, identify and document requirements to enhance SAM processes and workflows and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across software asset management practices.

Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Business Acumen (Business + Value Realization): Knowledge of value realization methods; ability to plan, execute, monitor and manage business activities and resources to determine and achieve the actual value from a business initiative as estimated in an associated business case.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree
- Advanced English
- Software Licensing & Contract Interpretation. License metric expertise, Publisher licensing knowledge, Entitlement interpretation & normalization, Effective License Position (ELP) / compliance calculation
- Experience with SAM or ITAM tools (e.g., Flexera, ServiceNow SAM Pro).
- Exposure to audit support, contract audits, or compliance activities.
- Knowledge of value realization, savings tracking, and cost‑benefit analysis methodologies.
Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days a week (except when traveling for business purposes).
