Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for an EHS Senior Team Leader located in the Fargo, North Dakota facility. This position will provide leadership, mentoring and direction to hourly, salaried and management personnel engaged in Environmental, Health, and/or Safety (EHS) activities related to a small to medium facility. This role will also supervise a small team of support staff to achieve their goals.
What you will do:
- Identify common safety/health/environmental hazards inherent in the organization's operations and establishes guidelines for protection from those hazards.
- Ensure EHS training is completed to comply with regulatory requirements or in support of facility, division, or enterprise objectives.
- Audit safety/health/environmental programs for compliance with company standards, government regulations, and adequacy relative to local conditions.
- Monitor periodic performance reports for trends and conditions and alerts line management to problems.
Skills you will have:
- Sustainability: Basic understanding of sustainability strategy; ability to integrate sustainability into the overall business strategy of the organization to build a sustainable business model.
- Risk Management: Working knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply knowledge of risk management appropriately to diverse situations.
- Collaborating: Working knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive experience with and knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
- Interpersonal Relationships: Working knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Overcoming Resistance to Change: Working knowledge and understanding and insight into the futility of refusing to accept the inevitable and ability to overcome resistance and adapt to a complex and changing environment.
- Problem Solving: Working knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
- Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Policy Compliance: Extensive experience and knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) policies; ability to implement EHS policies to ensure that provided products and services are safe for people and the environment and in compliance with legal requirements and standards.

Summary Pay Range:
$97,530.00 - $146,290.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
