The Opportunity
There is an exciting opportunity in Large Power Systems Division (LPSD) - US Drivetrain Operations. You'll have the unique opportunity to get close to our product, be a trusted business advisor, and assist in the management of our costing.
Job Summary
This role will provide you exposure to Product Cost support related to Normal Plant Cost, Standard Cost Revision, Normals, Abnormals reporting, and various Financial Reporting Support activities. This role offers a fantastic experience for an accountant to gain exposure to a great group of people as well as build a versatile well-rounded experience on which to grow.
What You Will Do:
- Normals Coordinator for 2 Drivetrain Legal Entities
- Standard Cost Revision Coordinator for 2 Drivetrain Legal Entities
- Cost team project leader for US Drivetrain
- Utilizing data tools to initiate process improvement across the team
- Ad hoc Financial Reporting Support
What You Have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.

- Experience with Axiom and Power BI
- Cost Accounting Experience
Summary Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
