JOB PURPOSE:
Engineering project team leader engaged in Operator Station design, development or research activities related to a single technology, component, product, or process which accomplish product maintenance and new product introduction objectives.
JOB DUTIES:
The incumbent will coach and facilitate the development of the work group, fostering collaborative relationships with customers, suppliers, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders to achieve organizational goals. Strong program/project management and organizational skills are essential.
This position requires exceptional global human relations, interpersonal, and communication skills. The incumbent must demonstrate role-based competencies such as:

Additionally, the role demands continuous growth in Caterpillar Leadership competencies related to Operator Station components.
The scope of projects will range from moderate technical focus on specific Operator Station components or sub-products to broader business-oriented initiatives. As such, the incumbent must expand their business acumen.

- Proven ability in the conceptual design and development of Operator Station components and processes.
- Strong skills in data analysis, extraction, and interpretation to drive decision-making.
- Experience in identifying, resolving, and preventing failures in engineering systems.
- Proficiency in managing and documenting requirements for both internal and external stakeholders.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and achieving organizational goals.

- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to build relationships with global stakeholders.

- Experience in technical project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects.
