Role Definition

Provides day-to-day support to customers and field service staff in relation to product implementation, customization, questions, and problems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with product development engineers to track and communicate design, development, support, and maintenance problems and solutions.
  • Identifies, documents, and reports design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs. Gathers and consolidates feedback from customers and field staff.
  • Coordinates with field support specialists and customers to address and resolve problems and expand product usage.
  • Answers customer and field support questions; provides guidance and support for product integration and infrastructure issues.

Must have Skills:

  • The Product Owner will work within our large Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Lead strategies for Sales Cloud and Experience cloud to optimize resource and performance.
  • Drive new endeavours, maintain existing solutions and refactor technical debt.
  • Salesforce Admin Certification would be having an Edge; Other certifications are good to have.
  • Work within our team of Product Owners, Engineers, and Architects to help validate POCs, rolling out new solutions when needed
  • Software Product Business Knowledge: Thorough understanding what the platform can do natively. Knowing the difference between a Flow, a Validation Rule, and a Custom Object allows you to guide developers and prevent "over-engineering.
  • Effective Communications: Able to explain complex technical limitations to executives in terms of business risk and ROI, ensuring everyone is aligned on what can realistically be delivered.
  • Provide detailed support on product inquiries through deep product knowledge and data-driven report creation. Communicate in-depth knowledge of the digital product to technical teams and business analysts.
  • Collaborate and actively engage with digital product and program managers to manage the digital product.
  • Strategically set the direction and priorities for the digital product. Own and drive the development timeline of the digital product roadmap and features.
  • Drive improvements in the digital product quality, data quality and support.
  • Address business questions and guide decision making while leveraging a fact-based, data focused approach.

  • Adapts documents and presentations for the intended audience.

Software Engineering: Knowledge of software engineering; ability to deliver new or enhanced fee-based software products.

Level Working Knowledge:

• Identifies considerations for product integration with multiple platforms and systems.

• Works with development or delivery of a software package or component.

• Describes phases, activities, deliverables and processes for a specific methodology.

• Works with structured documents for developing features, functions, plans and schedules.

• Describes software design practices, technologies, and considerations.

• Relates experiences with unusual or non-traditional uses; assesses opportunities and challenges.
