Role

Analyzes, develops, and manages transportation plans to control the movement of commodities throughout manufacturing and distribution networks, ensuring operational continuity, service excellence, and optimal transportation cost performance. Responsible for overseeing domestic and international freight movements across air, ocean, ground, parcel, and cross-border transportation modes while driving process improvements and carrier performance.

What You'll Do

• Manage domestic and international freight movements across ground, air, ocean, parcel, and cross-border transportation networks.
• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure efficient transportation execution.
• Monitor transportation performance through key metrics, including On-Time Pickup (OTP), On-Time Delivery (OTD), lead times, shipment visibility, and carrier performance.
• Manage transportation carrier performance metrics for all movements including international shipments i.e. Dray to/from Mexico Ports.
• Analyze transportation data and identify opportunities to improve service, reduce costs, optimize transit times, and enhance network efficiency.
• Provide transportation carrier updates and RCCA’s to internal customer facilities and dealers.
• Manage carrier relationships, support transportation procurement activities, and lead corrective actions to resolve operational issues and improve overall transportation performance.
• Participate and take leadership role in value stream activities or Rapid Improvement Workshops (RIW) as needed.

Education Required

• Completed University Degree related to a Supply Chain field of choice
• Fluent English (Intermediate to Advanced)

• Experience managing domestic, international, and cross-border transportation operations across air, ocean, ground, and parcel networks.
• Knowledge of carrier management, customs processes, and freight transportation.

Analytics & Problem Solving

• Strong analytical skills with experience tracking transportation KPIs, costs, and carrier performance.
• Ability to identify trends, solve operational issues, and drive process improvements.

Planning & Organization

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Communication & Collaboration

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with carriers, suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams.

Accountability & Adaptability

• Results-driven with strong ownership and decision-making capabilities.
• Adaptable to changing business needs and operational priorities.

Considerations for the best candidates:

• Minimum of 3 years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.

• Knowledge of international freight, customs, and cross-border transportation processes
