Job Summary
The Fleet Monitoring Center (FMC) Supervisor leads the China FMC team, overseeing the proactive monitoring of connected customer equipment using telematics, SOS, inspection, and service history data. The role is responsible for transforming machine data into actionable recommendations that improve customer uptime, productivity, reliability, and total cost of ownership.
As the local leader of the FMC operation in China, this position supports Caterpillar's Customer Solutions strategy while ensuring compliance with China data residency requirements. The role drives operational excellence, customer value delivery, and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of Fleet Monitoring Analysts to deliver proactive fleet monitoring services.
- Oversee machine health monitoring and provide recommendations to prevent equipment failures and improve performance.
- Establish service standards and ensure timely response to customer and dealer needs.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex machine health, reliability, and fleet performance issues.
- Partner with customers, dealers, and internal teams to improve equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Drive data-driven decision making through analysis of telematics, inspection, SOS, and service history data.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced customer value.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and operational requirements within China.
- Foster a culture of customer focus, technical excellence, continuous improvement, and teamwork.

Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Experience in fleet monitoring, telematics, condition monitoring, reliability engineering, or product support.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment, VisionLink, Product Link, or related digital solutions.
- Experience leading technical support or remote monitoring teams.
- Strong analytical and customer-facing experience.
