Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (Finance Transformation Manager - Analytics COE) to join our COE-Accountable Reporting -Global Finance Services Division

The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield, Bangalore-KA , India

What you will do:

The Finance Transformation Lead plays a senior role within the Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) – Continuous Improvement (CI), accountable for shaping, leading, and delivering complex finance transformation initiatives across global finance operations.

This role is designed for a high-performing, tech‑savvy finance transformation professional with 8–12 years of experience, typically gained through management consulting, advanced analytics, finance systems, or large‑scale finance transformation programs.
The position requires strong strategic thinking, solution design capability, and stakeholder influence, acting as a trusted advisor to senior finance leaders while ensuring measurable business value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Transformation Leadership

  • Lead end‑to‑end finance transformation and CI initiatives across global finance processes, from opportunity identification through solution design, execution, and value realization.
  • Own the design of standardized, scalable, future‑state finance processes, emphasizing simplification, controls, and exception elimination rather than exception automation.
  • Shape transformation roadmaps, including initiative prioritization, investment framing, value cases, and delivery milestones.
  • Act as a design authority for finance process, analytics, and digital enablement initiatives within the CI / Analytics COE governance.

Analytics COE & Digital Enablement

  • Serve as a senior finance–analytics–technology integrator, translating business strategy into analytics, data, and system requirements.
  • Guide the use of analytics, automation, and emerging digital/AI capabilities to improve insight quality, operational efficiency, and scalability.
  • Ensure strong data governance, metric consistency, and reporting integrity across initiatives.

Stakeholder Management & Strategic Influence

  • Partner closely with GBS, Finance Leadership, Continuous Improvement Leads, Tower SMEs, Analytics teams, and IT to align transformation priorities and execution.
  • Facilitate executive‑level discussions, workshops, and decision forums using a structured, consulting‑style approach.
  • Prepare and present clear, data‑driven executive communications, including roadmaps, business cases, progress updates, and impact reporting.
  • Influence outcomes in complex, matrixed environments, often without direct authority.

Delivery Oversight & Capability Building

  • Provide direction, coaching, and informal leadership to project resources, analysts, or junior transformation roles supporting initiatives.
  • Ensure disciplined execution, risk management, and benefit tracking across the transformation portfolio.
  • Contribute to the maturation of Continuous Improvement and Analytics COE ways of working, methodologies, and playbooks.

What you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
    • Finance transformation or continuous improvement leadership
    • Management / finance transformation consulting
    • Advanced analytics or data‑driven finance roles
    • Finance systems, ERP, or digital transformation programs
  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end finance processes, performance drivers, and operating models.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
  • This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.

Preferred Profile & Skills (Strongly Desired)

  • Senior tech‑savvy finance transformation profile, such as:
    • Former management or finance transformation consultant
    • Analytics‑led finance leader
    • Finance systems / digital transformation specialist
  • Deep data and analytics mindset: KPI design, data lineage, quality controls, and insight generation.
  • High technology literacy: strong understanding of modern finance platforms, analytics, automation, and AI enablement (hands‑on coding not required).
  • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and change‑leadership skills.
  • Strong ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic execution.
