Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Identity & Access Management (IAM) -Sr. IT Analyst Applications to join Infrastructure Services -CAT IT Division

The Identity & Access Management (IAM) Senior Analyst is responsible for executing and supporting enterprise IAM operations, governance activities, and access management processes. The role serves as a subject matter expert for identity lifecycle management, access governance, privileged access controls, and authentication technologies while ensuring compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.

The Senior Analyst works closely with the IAM Lead, IAM Manager, application teams, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable access management services across the enterprise.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield PSN Office , Bangalore -KA

What you will do

IAM Operations & Access Management

Execute day-to-day Identity and Access Management activities including:

  • User provisioning and deprovisioning
  • Joiner, Mover, and Leaver (JML) processes
  • Access requests and approvals
  • Role assignments and access modifications
  • Privileged access administration
  • Identity lifecycle management
  • Ensure all access requests are processed accurately and within established service levels.
  • Investigate and resolve IAM-related incidents, escalations, and access issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for recurring issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of access management activities and procedures.

Identity Governance & Compliance

  • Support access certification campaigns and periodic access reviews.
  • Validate user access against approved business requirements and security policies.
  • Assist with Segregation of Duties (SoD) reviews and remediation activities.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing access control evidence and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Identify control weaknesses and recommend process improvements.

Technical Administration & Support

  • Perform administration and operational support for IAM platforms and technologies.
  • Support configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of:
  • Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) solutions
  • Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Directory and federation services
  • Collaborate with application teams on onboarding applications into IAM platforms.
  • Support system integrations, role-based access models, and workflow enhancements.
  • Participate in IAM system upgrades, testing, and implementation activities.

Process Improvement & Automation

  • Identify opportunities to improve access management processes and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in developing and implementing automation solutions to reduce manual effort.
  • Support IAM transformation and modernization initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of operational procedures, knowledge articles, and training materials.
  • Participate in establishing and tracking IAM operational metrics and KPIs.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with business units, HR, IT teams, application owners, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Provide guidance to end users regarding access management procedures and requirements.
  • Communicate operational issues, risks, and recommendations to IAM leadership.
  • Support access governance awareness and adoption across the organization.

What you will have

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management, Information Security, or Cybersecurity.

Strong knowledge of:

  • Segregation of Duties (SoD)

  • Federation and Directory Services

  • Experience supporting IAM operations within enterprise environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.
  • Shift Timing:06:00PM -03:00AM IST(US Shift)

• Experience supporting audit, risk, and compliance initiatives.

• Experience with IAM process automation and workflow development.

• Experience in large global enterprise environments.

Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of application design and architecture principles and practices; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools, and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.
Level Extensive Experience:
• Analyzes system requirements and translates them into detailed design specifications.
• Designs complex application architectures that meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Evaluates and selects appropriate pattern, components, technologies, and tools for application development; integrates them with technical design.
• Leads application design reviews and walkthroughs to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solution.
• Troubleshoots complex design issues and provides innovative solutions.
• Prepares technical design documents and blueprints for applications.
Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (ex: accounting or graphic design).
Level Working Knowledge:
• Tracks problems associated with the quality and effectiveness of application software.
• Researches the benefits and drawbacks of an organization's application software.
• Drafts application software usage for the department's needs.
• Provides instant support for end users of application software.

Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

• Plays an active or leading role in recording and storing requirement documents in various forms.
• Ensures the successful completion of all major activities, tasks and deliverables pertaining to the requirement analysis stage.
• Supervises the advanced use of requirements analysis tools and services, including prototyping and use cases.

System Testing: Knowledge of system and software testing; ability to design, plan and execute system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.

• Evaluates interoperability of new systems with existing systems during the beta testing phase.
• Supervises the testing of complex, multi-platform and distributed applications.

Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation.

• Works with vendor-specific diagnostic guides, tools and utilities.
• Handles calls related to product features, applications, and compatibility standards.
