Role Definition
As the Caterpillar Financial Sales Manager based in Alberta, you will lead the Western Canada Sales Team in driving business growth, strengthening dealer and customer relationships, and advancing strategic financing solutions. In this leadership role, you will partner closely with Caterpillar dealers and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored financial solutions that support customer needs, grow sales, and build long-term customer loyalty across new machines, parts, and services.
Responsibilities
Deliver business plan sales and market share targets for company products and services within the assigned industry segment or market.
Develop and execute sales, marketing, and merchandising plans to support business objectives and drive growth across Western Canada.
Manage territory sales leads, opportunities, customer relationships, account management activities, and related analytics to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
Ensure customer satisfaction by managing product and commercial issues, overseeing service goodwill spending, and applying business, financial, sales, and pricing knowledge of financial loan products.
Coach and develop the sales team to maintain strong performance and support achievement of business objectives.
Compensation
Base salary range of $143,029.00 CAD - $185,938.00 CAD, with an additional incentive compensation earning opportunity of 37% (as per current plan document).
Degree Requirement
Degree or equivalent experience desired.

Business Development: Knowledge of business development tools, techniques and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.
Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
Additional Information
Travel across Western Canada is expected approximately 50% of the time, with additional travel based on business priorities.
