Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring the disciplined, timely, and strategic execution of the facility's project portfolio. This role integrates information across functions, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, tracks critical initiatives, and ensures projects progress with clear accountability, focus, and measurable results.

Working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and supporting functions, this position enables data-driven decision making, maintains visibility to key performance indicators, and drives structured problem-solving efforts. The successful candidate will play a critical role in execution management, executive communication, and continuous improvement initiatives that directly impact plant efficiency, productivity, and achievement of strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the plant project portfolio, tracking progress, risks, ownership, milestones, and completion dates.
  • Capture action items, commitments, and decisions from project review meetings and ensure timely execution.
  • Develop executive-level presentations summarizing project status, accomplishments, risks, and decisions required.
  • Provide operational and analytical support to project teams to enable successful project execution.
  • Analyze operational and project data to identify trends, root causes, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and facilitate structured problem-solving sessions with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain and administer plant performance scorecards, ensuring accuracy, timely updates, and effective communication.
  • Coordinate activities across internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Build productive relationships with internal and external customers through professional communication and issue resolution.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency, including the ability to prepare executive presentations and participate in technical meetings.

Candidates Must Have
Problem Solving:

  • Ability to structure complex problems, identify root causes, and facilitate cross-functional analysis.
  • Knowledgeable in using tools such as 5 Why's, Fishbone (Ishikawa), DMAIC, and data-driven decision making.
  • Capability to develop practical, actionable solutions aligned with business objectives.

Project Management

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining visibility to timelines, risks, and ownership.
  • Knowledgeable using scorecards, project tracking tools, and reporting systems.
  • Strong meeting facilitation and action plan execution skills.

Decision Making & Critical Thinking

  • Ability to analyze complex information and identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
  • Strong data-driven recommendation and prioritization capabilities.
  • Ability to balance impact, urgency, and available resources.

Manufacturing Processes

  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and production workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
  • Knowledgeable in identifying operational constraints and process improvement opportunities.

Lean Manufacturing

  • Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledgeable in supporting waste reduction, process optimization, and workflow improvement.
  • Ability to apply Lean metrics to evaluate project impact and sustainability.

Top Candidates May Have

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
  • CAPM, PMP, or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Minitab.
  • Advanced facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional improvement projects.


Additional Information

  • This position is located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon.
  • Work Schedule is set to Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Travel may be required up to 25% (international and domestic).
  • Relocation assistance is available.
