Role definition:
Provide guidance, coaching, and strategic direction to hourly, salaried, and management employees involved in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives, ensuring effective implementation and compliance within a small to medium-sized facility.
Responsibilities:
Recognizes potential environmental, health, and safety risks within organizational operations and implements preventive measures and guidelines to mitigate those risks.
Coordinates and ensures completion of EHS training programs to meet regulatory requirements and support facility, business unit, and organizational goals.
Conducts audits and evaluations of EHS programs to verify compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and site-specific operational needs.
Reviews and analyzes EHS performance metrics to identify trends, proactively communicate concerns to management, and recommend corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Degree Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Safety Engineering, or a related field.

Creates and maintains incident reporting processes, forms, and procedures to support effective EHS management and continuous improvement.
Partners with cross-functional teams to promote, coordinate, and strengthen environmental, health, and safety initiatives throughout the organization.
Implements strategies to reduce environmental impact by preventing pollution and optimizing the use of materials, energy, and water resources.
Top Candidates:
Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
Strong knowledge of STPS regulations
Familiarity with Civil Protection (Protección Civil) requirements
Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency

This position is located in Santa Catarina, Nuevo León, Mexico.
Work Schedule: Monday through Saturday.
This role requires up to 30% domestic and international travel.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
