Role Definition

Responsible for ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of Paint Shop equipment with a strong focus on ABB robotic painting systems, automation controls, and maintenance excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot ABB painting robots and Core controllers.
• Perform robot calibration, mastering, backup, and diagnostics.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, VFDs, and industrial networks.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and drive TPM initiatives.
• Support paint booths, ovens, conveyors, pretreatment systems, pumps, and utilities.
• Ensure EHS compliance and implement LOTO procedures.

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
• ABB Robotics certification preferred.

Experience

• 6–10 years of Paint Shop Maintenance experience.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on ABB Robotics experience.
• Experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing environments.
