  • Utilize business resource processes and applications to inform and help make product decisions. Closely track and lead program R&D budget management, aligning spend via regular touchpoints with product teams, revising as necessary as program changes dictate, ensuring forecasts accurately reflect stated program deliverables.

  • Collaborate with Chief Engineers Technical Managers on transitioning new technology projects (NTI) to new product introduction (NPI) projects. Collaborate with the Commercial Team to understand and meet customer needs. Work closely with L5 system technical leads and product group partners.

  • Contribute to defining the direction for product design, processes, standards, or operational plans based on business strategy with a significant impact on work group results.

  • Develop/maintain project plans and schedules in collaboration with all E+ES functional areas (product support, life cycle management, engineering, purchasing, validation) and product group teams.

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

  • Oversee project execution, including schedule, cost, and performance; communicate status to stakeholders and functional partners; proactively identify, escalate, and resolve issues.

  • Influence project staffing decisions; motivate, coach, and develop project teams; communicate with customers to manage expectations; and ensure effective use of project controls and reporting mechanisms.

  • Developing and refining processes in the project intake and governance space, ensuring consistency and priority alignment for project onboarding.

  • Manage conflict resolution through effective negotiation, maintaining team momentum throughout the program life cycle.
