Job Summary:

As a Parts Record Clerk at Caterpillar, you will be responsible for claims customer service for Europe, Africa, Middle East, Eurasia (EAME) and Asia Pacific (APD) regions.

• Schedule: Part-Time (32 hours per week on 1st shift).

What You Will Do:

• Investigate and Process Claims
• Manage multiple shared group inboxes
• Collaborate with other work groups to ensure record accuracy
• Process claims disputes
• Provide accurate claims reporting

What You Have (Required Skills):

• Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
• Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
• Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):

• Must be technically oriented with some exposure to SAP
• Must have demonstrated ability to communicate with a diverse audience
• Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Word and Excel or equivalent)
• Good analytical, communications (oral and written) and interpersonal skills as well as a self-starter with the ability to function well in a team environment
