Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Rep II to join Financial Services HR -Global Finance Services Division
The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield Office, Bangalore, India
What you will do
To assist in the administration of various human resource services and functions within a facility, Division or Shared Services . Incumbents typically have previous human resources experience and have progressed through various human resources positions.
In a division or facility setting, the job functions could include some or all of the following:
- Recruiting needs/planning.
- New employee orientation.
- Liaise with Regional and Corporate Human Resources.
- Interact with and counsel all levels of management, salaried & hourly employees, to assist and resolve a wide variety of personnel, wage/salary and benefit related issues.
Interface with Corporate Human Resources, Compensation + Benefit and Payroll personnel to assist in the administration and support of employee issues and problems in some or all of the following areas:
- Performance Management Process.
- Relocations / International Service Employee Issues.
- Labor Relations Issues.
- Communication of human resources related material.
- Employee Opinion Survey analysis and communication.
- Annual Succession Planning process.
- Performance of duties associated with Governmental regulations and internal investigations.
- Administration of payroll, salary administration, time and attendance and PeopleSoft related activities.
- Learning initiatives.
- Track and report on metrics and measurements for human resources functions and provide data to management
- Various other human resources related duties.
In a Shared Services environment, this position serves as a liaison between the process owner and the service center groups to reflect process changes in a standard format. SSOS HR Reps also interface with Corporate Human Resources, Compensation + Benefit and Payroll personnel to assist in the administration and support of employee issues and problems in some or all of the following areas as well as manage process changes, new processes and new customers:
- Code of Conduct
- EEO Administration and internal investigations
- Temporary layoffs
- EOS & pulse management
- Leaves of absence including medical and Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA’s)
- HR consulting regarding performance levels PL3C, 4 & 5
- Relocation and International Service Employees (ISE’s)
- Job evaluations/job code information
- Performance management & ePerformance
- Payroll/benefit questions
- Salary administration
- Time and attendance
- PeopleSoft (PS) related activities and tree questions
- Reorganizations
- Leader express inquiries
- Learning initiatives
- STIP administration
- Service date recalculations
- Talent Management System (TMS) training & consensus facilitation
- United Way
- Unemployment Insurance (UI) claims processing
- Wage & benefit surveys
- Labor Relation issues
- Process documentation and standard worksheets
- Track and report on metrics and measurements for human resources functions and provide data to management.
- Various other human resources related duties
- Typical internal customers include the employees at all levels in one or more facilities and/or Divisions.
- Develop and recommend solutions to problems of limited scope and complexity and may develop and recommend solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity.
- The incumbent is challenged to carefully evaluate problems and review a number of possible solutions before selecting one option.
- Works with process owners and governance Council to ensure correct level of approval is determined for process changes and updated documentation is provided to all service centers.
- Incumbent can change different parts of the standard approach to serve customers best, but cannot add or delete procedures without approval.
- Works under general direction. Determine and develop approaches to solutions following established documented processes and procedures.
- Work is typically reviewed after completion.
What you will have
- The position typically requires good knowledge of various areas of human resource including benefits, employment, pay-related practices/process, compensation and company policies and procedures.
- In addition, the role will require ability to manage/facilitate learning interventions and should have excellent communication skills.
- The position typically requires a college or university degree and/or equivalent experience, preferably in communications. In addition, 2-4 years of human resources job-related experience are typically required.
- Very good human relations and effective communications skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside of department. The ability to maintain confidentiality is essential.
- This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office
