Job Purpose:
Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management. Develop and analyze financial data to appraise business results of profitability, operational excellence and other criteria that directly reflect the performance of R&D engineering organization.
Job Duties:
Possible areas of responsibility are including:
1. Provide accurate, consistent, and timely financial analysis and reporting, including submission of monthly financial results, quarterly rolling forecasts, and annual business plans, while driving budget and forecast accuracy.
2. Lead business review meetings, presenting and explaining budget and actual performance results to management.
3. Prepare and evaluate various forecast and budget scenarios in response to evolving business conditions, maintain strong governance over data quality and integrity across financial systems and reports.
4. Drive digitalization and data analytics initiatives to enhance reporting capabilities and business insights.
5. Identify cost reduction opportunities and recommend initiatives to improve operating performance (e.g., OPACC) to the management team.
6. Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
7. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements to increase efficiency.
8. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
1.Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required
2.Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with strong understanding of accounting processes and systems
3.Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred
4.Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable
5.Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and in a multicultural environment
6.Good command of English, both written and spoken
