What will you do?

As a Digital Business Product Owner, you will strongly contribute to vision and product development through high end Caterpillar product portfolio and be responsible for the following:

• Support prioritization and refinement of the product backlog, including defects, enhancements, and new features.

• Translate product needs, user feedback, and business priorities into clear features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

• Maintain accurate and transparent work items in MS Azure DevOps to support delivery planning and execution.

• Collaborate with Engineering, UX/UI, Product Management, and other stakeholders to deliver features and releases on schedule.

• Participate in backlog refinement, scoping, solutioning, user acceptance testing, and retrospectives.

• Gather requirements and feedback from internal stakeholders, dealers, users, and support teams to improve product experience.

• Track delivery progress, risks, dependencies, adoption, and value realization, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

• Support alignment across related products and teams to ensure a consistent and connected user experience.

• Partner with Marketing and other teams to support release readiness, product positioning, and adoption activities.

This position works in Central European timezone directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT in the US. Role will require collaboration across several time zones and cross functional teams.

Background and experience:

• Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.

• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

• Software Product Business Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.

• Software Change Request Management: Knowledge of software change request management; ability to manage software product change requests from customers, prospective customers, vendors, and internal staff.

• Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Exposure to specific organizational tools such as AHA and Azure DevOps

• Experience in UI prototypes applications such as Figma

• High interest in generative AI applications
