Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Program Specialist (Technical Project Manager (ERP) to join Applications Development & Intelligence Automation -CAT IT Division

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager (ERP – Charisma) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead and delivers IT projects and effectively communicate details with key stakeholders and business units. This role required experienced in resolving urgent escalations and complex project management challenges promptly.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield PSN Office, Bangalore, India

What you will do

  • Skilled in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, with a strong ability to apply project management best practices.
  • Knowledge of the ERP and understanding of financial business flows and underlying infrastructure (ex: Charisma)
  • Manages IT service requests and project-related tasks using ServiceNow, coordinating effectively with users and vendors.
  • Leads and delivers IT projects, leveraging solid knowledge of systems infrastructure and SQL.
  • Translates technical constraints into clear, actionable information for business stakeholders.
  • Overseeing all project phases independently from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Builds and leads cross-functional technical teams, assigning responsibilities, securing resources, and driving on-time execution.
  • Experienced in resolving urgent escalations and complex project management challenges promptly.
  • Advanced understanding of SDLC methodologies and implementation processes for system changes.
  • Strong time-management and task-coordination capabilities, handling multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Proficient with project management tools including Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Planner, and MS Project.
  • Develops and maintains application roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business and technology goals.
  • Strong business acumen and excellent English communication skills.
  • Provides backup support during holidays or team absences.

What you will have

  • 10+ years of project management with experience in ERP - Charisma.
  • This position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with:

  • Knowledge of the ERP and understanding of financial business flows.
  • Manages IT service requests and project-related tasks using ServiceNow.
  • Leads and delivers IT projects, leveraging solid knowledge of systems infrastructure and SQL
  • Advanced understanding of SDLC methodologies.
  • This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.
  • Shift Timing: 01:00Noon -10:00PM IST

• Plans, estimates, staffs, organizes and monitors significant projects.

• Conducts regular and ad-hoc project reviews with project team, sponsors, and clients.
• Maintains open communication among project participants and interested parties.
• Communicates reporting requirements; creates monitoring and control mechanisms.

Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

• Follows policies, practices and standards for determining functional and informational requirements.
• Confirms deliverables associated with requirements analysis.
• Communicates with customers and users to elicit and gather client requirements.
• Participates in the preparation of detailed documentation and requirements.
