Job Summary:

As a SAP Security Analyst, you will help protect Caterpillar’s SAP environments by ensuring appropriate user access, roles, authorizations, and security controls. You will partner with business and IT teams to translate requirements into secure SAP access solutions, troubleshoot authorization issues, support deployments, and help maintain compliance across SAP environments.

What you will do:

You will support and enhance SAP Security across Caterpillar’s SAP environments, focusing on user access, roles and authorizations, security controls, and compliance. You will partner with business and IT teams to deliver secure access solutions, resolve authorization issues, and support SAP changes and deployments.

• Administer and support SAP security, including user access provisioning, role assignments, and access changes.
• Design, test, implement, and maintain SAP roles and authorizations based on business and security requirements.
• Analyze and resolve complex SAP authorization and access issues, partnering with business users and IT teams.
• Support SAP security testing for system changes, releases, implementations, and deployment activities.
• Maintain technical and procedural documentation related to SAP security processes, roles, access, and controls.
• Translate business requirements into secure and scalable SAP access solutions.
• Support security controls and compliance activities to help ensure appropriate access across SAP environments.

Basic requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Pre-Advanced English.
• Experience with SAP Security, user administration, roles, profiles, and authorizations.
• Experience designing, configuring, testing, or supporting SAP security roles and access.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience troubleshooting SAP access and authorization issues.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical security solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.

Top candidates will also have:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA security.
• Knowledge or experience with SAP GRC and access governance.
• Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and access review processes.
• Knowledge of audit, compliance, and internal controls related to SAP access management.
• Experience supporting complex SAP environments, implementations, upgrades, or major releases.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Note: This position requires the candidate to work on-site five days a week.
