Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Analyst Applications (SnapLogic Developer) with 5 to 8 years of experience in enterprise integration, data migration, and API development to join RI Order Fulfilment & Procurement–CAT IT Division. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and implementing SnapLogic pipelines and integrating Procurement, Supply Chain, and Sales systems. The role will support strategic data platform initiatives, including procurement analytics, supplier management, supply chain data integration, and sales reporting solutions.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore – Caterpillar PSN

This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule.

Shift Timing: 01:00-10:00PM IST

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy SnapLogic pipelines for batch and real-time integrations.
  • Migrate legacy ETL/DataStage integrations to SnapLogic.
  • Develop integrations between ERP, Procurement, Supply Chain, CRM, and Data Platform systems.
  • Build and maintain API-led integrations using SnapLogic API Management capabilities.
  • Design robust error handling, monitoring, alerting, and recovery mechanisms.
  • Integrate enterprise applications with Snowflake, AWS, databases, and third-party systems.
  • Support Sales Data Platform and Procurement Data Platform initiatives by enabling reliable data movement and transformation.
  • Collaborate with business users, architects, product owners, and support teams to gather and refine requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Participate in Agile development, code reviews, release management, and CI/CD implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and data quality standards.

Required Technical Skills

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Data Integration and Middleware technologies.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with SnapLogic.
  • Strong knowledge of pipeline development, orchestration, and API integrations.
  • Expertise in SQL and data transformation techniques.
  • Experience integrating with:
    • Snowflake
    • AWS Services & MFT mailbox
    • REST/SOAP APIs
    • Oracle, SQL Server, and other relational databases
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience with Git, DevOps, and CI/CD deployment processes.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and support processes for production environments.

Domain Experience

  • Procurement and Supplier Management processes.
  • Enterprise Procurement Data Platform (EPDP).
  • Supply Chain Data Platform (SCDP).
  • Sales Data Platform and Sales Analytics solutions.
  • Master Data Management and Data Governance.
  • ERP integrations involving procurement, sourcing, inventory, and sales transactions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience migrating DataStage, Informatica, or other ETL platforms to SnapLogic.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Snowflake Data Engineering.
  • Experience with Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Python or Java for custom integrations.
  • Familiarity with Procurement, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing business processes.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • SnapLogic and Cloud Certifications are desirable.
