About the role

Are you a technically minded professional with a passion for solving complex problems and supporting customers in a fast-paced operational environment?

We are seeking a Service Engineer to provide technical support and engineering expertise to our customers and maintenance teams across Indonesia. In this role, you will act as a key technical liaison, helping to maximise fleet reliability, minimise equipment downtime, and ensure customers receive responsive and effective support.

Working closely with Operations, Engineering, and customer stakeholders, you will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, monitoring equipment performance, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance fleet availability and operational performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A trade, engineering, or related technical qualification.
  • Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, or technical support within a rail, heavy industry, manufacturing, or similar environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to fault finding.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships.
  • A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise competing demands, and respond effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience using asset management, maintenance, or engineering systems would be highly regarded

Responsibilities of the Position

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and operational teams.
  • Monitor equipment and fleet performance to identify issues and improve reliability.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to minimise downtime and maximise asset availability.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, and customer stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
  • Support investigations into equipment failures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate technical records, reporting, and system data.
  • Promote our commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence.
