In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing and executing projects related to Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online for our 100,000 active users. You will work closely with stakeholders to uncover their business needs and empower end-users to make the most out of SharePoint through training and support activities.

But that's not all! You will also get the opportunity to work on exciting modern technology like AvePoint Cloud Governance, Microsoft Syntex, and Microsoft 365 Copilot. You will be a key player in ensuring secure and compliant enterprise content management, measuring metrics and performance to maintain high customer experience (CX) and advising on complex issues and strategy direction of our solutions.

This role involves working with cloud services that are subject to DFARS clauses. Therefore, only U.S. based candidates in the United States are eligible to apply.

What You Do:

· Administer and support SharePoint Online services across both Commercial and GCC High Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring secure, compliant, and reliable collaboration solutions.

· Plan, design, and implement SharePoint Online solutions for various business needs and scenarios.

· Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint Online issues and incidents and function as an advisor to the support team on complex issues.

· Provide guidance and support to end-users and stakeholders on SharePoint Online best practices and functionalities.

· Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors on SharePoint Online integrations and migrations.

· Evaluate and test new SharePoint Online features and updates.

· Provide feedback and suggestions to Microsoft product development group on SharePoint Online enhancements and improvements.

· Ensure security and compliance of SharePoint Online data and content.

· Generate and analyze reports and dashboards on SharePoint Online usage and performance.

· Work on innovative projects such as Microsoft Syntex and Microsoft 365 Copilot.

· Identify and analyze customer business requirements.

· Collaborate with business partners on integration of third-party applications and add-ins.

· Escalations and regular engagement with the vendor team.

What You Have:

· Thorough knowledge of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 and related enterprise class collaboration platforms.

· Strong knowledge of Azure and SharePoint Online architecture, features, and functionalities.

· Experience administering a Microsoft 365 Commercial and GCC High environment.

· Experience with AvePoint Cloud Governance is a plus.

· Knowledge of web technologies including Graph API and familiarity with scripting in PowerShell.

· Basic knowledge with Entra ID including groups, guest access, application permissions, federation, privileged roles, and license management.

· Recommends enhancements for enterprise collaboration services.

· Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives.

· Explores and evaluates application design considerations for multiple technologies.

· Assist with current and planned integration initiatives.

· Tests system components for compliance with functional requirements.

· Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills, initiative, and intellectual curiosity.

· Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where technology is evolving at a rapid pace.

· Passion for technology and an eagerness to contribute as a collaborative team member.

Skill Descriptors

Core Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.

Application Design Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools, and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into technical application design.

Implementation: Knowledge of how to run applications for organizations; ability to implement application software within an organization and help end-users perform specific tasks (e.g. accounting or graphic design).

Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.

System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases, and technology platforms.

System Testing: Knowledge of system and software testing; ability to design, plan and execute system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
