Job Summary:

Caterpillar is seeking an Adobe Workfront and Frame.io Business Analyst to support the Marketing Content Product Management team and help deliver digital initiatives that enable business goals. In this role, you will support Adobe Workfront by contributing to both solution delivery and ongoing platform administration.

You will collaborate closely with business partners, product teams, and engineering to understand user needs, identify pain points, and translate insights into solutions that streamline workflow processes. You will also support administrative responsibilities related to configuring, governing, and optimizing Adobe Workfront and Adobe Frame.io, including managing system setup, templates, workflows, permissions, integrations, and reporting.

As a member of the Digital Marketing Content Product Management team, the Workfront Business Analyst will play a key role in Caterpillar’s Content Supply Chain—a critical initiative focused on streamlining marketing operations, improving data consistency across platforms, and enhancing content delivery to customers. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to think strategically while appreciating the smallest details. This position is essential to enabling faster, more consistent, and higher-quality content delivery across Caterpillar.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Business Analysis & Product Backlog Management
    Lead the end-to-end requirements process by capturing, analyzing, and validating business needs and translating them into detailed functional specs, user stories, and test cases. Drive discovery and backlog refinement ensuring epics and features are converted into clear, sprint-ready work. Author well-scoped, testable user stories for both business and engineering initiatives aligned to product goals.

  • Agile Delivery and Cross-Functional Execution
    Actively support agile ceremonies and ensure delivery quality by reviewing sprint outcomes and approving completed work. Manage components of complex initiatives, including prioritization, user story definition, and dependency tracking. Collaborate with Product, QA, and stakeholders to develop training and enablement materials for successful solution delivery.

  • User Profile Management
    Support day-to-day access and management of user accounts and permissions for Workfront Production, Preview and Sandbox environments. Maintain proper Group, Teams and Job role user assignments.

  • Technical Troubleshooting
    Manage support queue with high level of customer support and urgency to meet SLA expectations and maintain user adoption. Create, share, and update reports, dashboards, custom forms and templates as requested.

  • Group Data Maintenance
    Work with Business Consultants and Group Champions to keep portfolios, programs and projects in proper active/closed status.

  • License Usage Management
    Ensure license assignments are accurate based on system usage reports – login counts, proof decisions, etc. Provide reports to leadership for Group users' license budget allocations.

  • System Settings
    Maintain and document all system settings and business unit set-ups. Review and prepare training for Workfront New Feature Releases as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years in digital product management, business analysis, user experience, user research, digital strategy, or related function.

  • Expert level knowledge of the Adobe Admin Console, Adobe Workfront, and Adobe Frame.io

  • Adobe Workfront Core Developer Professional certification.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business-friendly requirements into structured, technically sound specifications for development teams.

  • Proven experience creating mockups, wireframes, and other visual artifacts to support and communicate requirements.

  • Strong customer-service mindset, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, triage issues, and deliver against business objectives.

  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and drive initiatives across multiple deadlines.

  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and accountable, with a track record of maintaining accuracy and consistency across concurrent projects.

  • Strong interest in governance, compliance, and process standardization, with the ability to support, document, and reinforce best practices.

  • Working knowledge of UAT activities, tools, and methodologies, including the ability to design, execute, and evaluate user acceptance testing.

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Considerations For Top Candidates:

  • Experience with Workflow Automation and Content Supply Chain tools and processes that support content creation and delivery.

  • Background in digital marketing practices and strategies.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive, emotional, or potentially controversial situations effectively, particularly during periods of change management.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe applications, including Assets, Workfront the Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools including Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.

  • Experience working with onshore/offshore team model.

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with a global team across multiple different business units.
