We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Engineer - Power Systems Integration to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and maintaining complex product configuration systems that support the design, manufacture, and delivery of industry-leading equipment and solutions.

Working across multiple engineering and business functions, you will ensure product configuration requirements are accurately translated into scalable system solutions that support new product introductions, engineering changes, manufacturing efficiency, and customer requirements.

This position offers the opportunity to work with global teams, influence enterprise-wide configuration strategies, and contribute to the successful delivery of innovative products and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and support product configuration and systems integration solutions.
• Translate engineering requirements into scalable configuration rules and processes.
• Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead configuration testing, validation, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Resolve complex product configuration and data-related issues.
• Support new product introductions and ongoing engineering change activities.
• Provide technical expertise across configuration management and system integration activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline or 8+ years relevant industry experience
• Experience with product configuration, systems integration, engineering systems, or product development within a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
• Understanding of product structures, BOMs, engineering change management, and configuration principles.
• Exposure to PLM, CAD, product configuration, or other enterprise engineering systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and digital technology teams.
• Knowledge of mobile machinery power systems is desirable
• Knowledge of software and control systems is desirable

Additional Information

• Site-based in Burnie Tasmania (5 days per week)
• Relocation assistance maybe offered to the ideal candidate
