Job Summary:
Oversee and directs daily plant operations including production and manufacturing, maintenance, engineering support, safety and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing programs and practices for hiring, performance management and developing/training the personnel that perform and support the plant operating functions.
- Directing all aspects of manufacturing operations for the plant or facility to produce cost-effective, timely and high-quality products in a safe, secure and sanitary working environment.
- Managing development, implementation and continual improvement of the operating methods, equipment, systems, and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives.
- Directing development of production work schedules to meet internal goals and customer expectations; monitoring process and personnel performance of scheduled work activities to remove operating impediments and achieve established operating goals.

- Establish shared goals and encourage cross-functional input.
- Ensure teams have access to common data and insights.
Lean Manufacturing:
- Leads adoption of lean manufacturing principles across the organization.
- Explain how lean connects operations, customers, logistics and product development.
- Advice on work cell design and plant layout aligned to lean principles.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
- Contributes to best practices for accuracy and quality.
- Processes detailed information with a high degree of accuracy.
- Balances speed and accuracy in daily work.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced English
Top Candidates also have:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, Business, or a related field.
- Extensive expertise in staff and supervisory management roles.
- Expert in P&L management, quality systems and manufacturing operations, including budgeting, forecasting, Six Sigma, CQMS, ISO, Lean, APQP, safety, performance management, project planning, manufacturing standards and NPI/NSI processes.
Additional Information:
- Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León Facility.
- This position is five-day a week in-office model.
- Domestic and international travel of up to 10% may be required.
