  • Set clear expectations and review dealer performance against utilisation and adoption targets

  • Drive corrective actions where execution gaps exist

  • Work directly with customers to improve jobsite performance through technology

  • Ensure consistency in how technology is positioned and supported in the field

Opportunity & Growth Focus

  • Identify aftermarket and incremental sales opportunities driven by technology usage

  • Support growth in key growth metrics

  • Use data and insights to prioritise actions

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Work with product, digital, and support teams to resolve issues impacting adoption

  • Provide field feedback on product gaps, training needs and commercialisation barriers

  • Support rollout of go-to-market programs and new technology releases

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships and proven ability to drive execution through dealers and customers

  • Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of construction, mining, or heavy equipment environments, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, with experience in machine control & guidance, telematics, machine technology systems, and civil construction applications.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyse situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • Extensive experience working with construction equipment dealers, OEM distribution networks, or heavy equipment customers, ideally in sales, product support, digital solutions, dealer development, or technology adoption roles.

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with dealers and customers, influence behaviour, and drive technology utilisation and measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience within construction, mining, heavy equipment, or related industries; exposure to telematics, connected equipment, machine technology, or digital solutions is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication, training, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical solutions into clear productivity, safety, and operational benefits.
