This role is responsible for leading HR compliance work for IPSD Wuxi and Changshu to ensure full compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and HR process requirements. The role will also serve as the HR Business Partner for the PLM Wuxi team and other support functions, working closely with the global HR Business Partner and local leadership to enhance employee experience and support business performance.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as the HR Business Partner for the PLM Wuxi team and provide local HR support to SMSP, BR, and E&T Purchasing, working closely with business leaders, the global HR Business Partner, and local leadership to enhance employee experience and support business performance.
  • Lead HR compliance work for IPSD Wuxi and Changshu, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, company policies, HR process requirements, and internal control standards.
  • Manage local HR policies, processes, holiday and working calendars, and CBS T-code change log audits to ensure accurate, consistent, and compliant HR operations.
  • Lead or support HR projects to improve HR process effectiveness, compliance, employee experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Handle employee relations matters and investigations, including complex employee cases, disciplinary processes, and sensitive employee issues, while ensuring compliance with China labor laws and company policies.
  • Employee Relations: Handle labor relations and complex employee cases, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and sensitive employee matters. Ensure compliance with applicable China labor laws, company policies and relevant HR process controls.
  • Maintain accurate HR data and provide meaningful reporting and insights to support workforce planning, performance reviews, and business decision-making.

What Skills You Will Have:

  • Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations in employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
  • Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
  • Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
  • Talent Management : Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, facility, or operations environment.
  • Solid knowledge of China labour laws, employee relations practices, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
