Job Purpose:
This role leads the cylinder manufacturing engineering team, ensuring stable production and driving continuous process improvement. It focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance quality, cost, and efficiency, while building team capability and supporting long-term business growth aligned with PQVC targets.
Job Duties:
Assignments as below are included but not limited to the following items:
- Lead the cylinder manufacturing engineering team to support daily production and ensure process stability, rapid issue resolution, and risk mitigation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cylinder manufacturing processes (quality, cost reduction, efficiency, and throughput improvement).
- Own and optimize key manufacturing processes, including process design, validation, and standardization (control plan, PFMEA, WI, etc.).
- Lead root cause analysis (RCCA/A3) for major quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive industrialization and process readiness for new products or process changes, ensuring smooth transition into mass production.
- Lead introduction, review, and acceptance of new equipment and tooling to ensure compliance with technical and safety requirements.
- Develop and coach the manufacturing engineering team to enhance technical competency, execution capability, and ownership.
- Support digitalization and automation initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency and data visibility where applicable.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with proven leadership experience in team management.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes of machining, welding and assembly is preferred.
- Ability to lead teams under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with hands-on problem-solving capability.
