Role Summary
The Aftermarket Digital Consultant leads the aftermarket digital experience strategy for Caterpillar’s Building Construction Products (BCP) division. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to understand needs, identify opportunities, and drive solutions that create a customer-back experience throughout the customer’s online post-purchase journey.
What You Will Do (Job Duties):
Define post-purchase digital experience for Building Construction Product customers within Caterpillar’s digital platforms in accordance with the division’s strategic objectives.
Document capabilities, experiential and business requirements in conjunction with Cat Digital team to support feature creation supporting the online post-purchase experience.
Analyze market trends, user behavior, competitive analysis, customer needs, and product performance to inform roadmap decisions and measure success.
Ensure alignment of project goals with key stakeholders and strategic development partners.
Monitor and review effectiveness of digital product capabilities and new-feature launches and recommend elements to scale at a regional or global level.
Define Prioritized Service Events strategy for BCP customers including digital integrated customer offerings in accordance with division strategic objectives.

Relationship Management: Ability to build trust, manage expectations, and maintain productive working relationships with direct team members and internal partners.
Influencing: Ability to listen actively, develop persuasive recommendations, and gain alignment across teams without relying on direct authority.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Top Candidates Will Have:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Information Systems, Digital Commerce, Product Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in digital product management, customer experience, e-commerce, digital marketing, or a related business transformation role.
Experience translating customer, business, and technical requirements into digital product capabilities and feature roadmaps.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders, software development teams, UX designers, and product owners.
Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging customer insights, behavioral data, market trends, and performance metrics to drive decisions.
Experience managing or influencing digital product initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including requirements documentation and executive-level presentations.
Proven ability to prioritize competing demands and operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Summary Pay Range:
$128,470.00 - $192,710.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
