Job Summary:

Provides supply network solutions expertise, using Quality, Cost, Logistics, Development, and Management (QCLDM) to deliver maximum value. This position is responsible to manage Category Buyer responsibilities for MRO and Packaging with full ISA (Indirect Site Advisor) Buyer accountability for Piracicaba, as well as São Paulo and Belo Horizonte facilities, aligned with the Global MRO & Packaging Category teams. In addition, the position plays a critical role in Brazil ISA’s transformation strategy, supporting a dual-platform procurement environment (Coupa and Mercado Eletrônico).

What you will do:

  • Developing, managing and executing the category strategy managing policies, agreements, source catalogs, and special procurement programs.

  • Recognizing the potential for cost decreases, inventory reductions and quality improvement, as well as responsibility for soundness of business proposals and risk assessment.

  • Acting as the liaison between the organization and the supplier to communicate information explicitly, while considering production demands and suppliers' conditions.

  • Documenting the suppliers' performance on time sensitiveness and production; maintains a strong relationship with suppliers.

What you will have:

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to communicate clearly and effectively with suppliers, stakeholders and cross-functional partners while translating business needs into actionable solutions.

Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of interpersonal relationship techniques and the ability to build strong collaborative relationships with internal and external partners in a constructive and professional manner.

Negotiating: Knowledge of negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to support and lead supplier negotiations that achieve business objectives while maintaining strong working relationships.

Supplier Relationship Management: Knowledge of supplier relationship management concepts and strategies; ability to establish productive supplier partnerships, address business challenges and drive supplier performance improvements.

Strategic Sourcing: Knowledge of strategic sourcing methods and processes; ability to leverage market intelligence, supplier insights and analytical thinking to support sourcing decisions and continuous procurement improvement

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Purchasing or a related function.

  • Experience working with suppliers, sourcing activities or commercial negotiations.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.

  • Pre-advanced English level

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

  • MBA or postgraduate degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or a related field, demonstrating advanced business acumen and strategic decision-making capabilities.

  • Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to effectively collaborate with global stakeholders, participate in supplier discussions and support initiatives within an international business environment.

  • Digital and Artificial Intelligence (AI) mindset, including familiarity with digital procurement tools, data analytics, automation technologies and emerging AI solutions that enhance sourcing, supplier management and decision-making processes.
