This new Administrative Assistant role provides direct support to four Caterpillar Senior Global Finance Leaders (Group Chief Financial Officers).


Role Definition
Provides administrative support and coordination activities for four Caterpillar senior Global Finance Leaders (Group Chief Financial Officers and their teams). Providing end‑to‑end administrative and coordination support—managing schedules, travel, documentation, and office operations to enable leader and team productivity.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide administrative support and coordination for teams/executives
  • Maintain schedules, calendars, and staff availability tracking
  • Coordinate domestic & international travel, expenses, and reimbursement processes
  • Maintain policies, procedures, and documentation libraries

What You Have:

  • Education/Experience: Degree or equivalent experience desired
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Collaborating: Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Handling of Confidential data: Ability to understand, protect, and appropriately handle sensitive information by following organizational policies and restricting access to authorized individuals only, uses judgment on what not to say, share, or forward, protect executive communications and calendar visibility, maintains professionalism in conversations, meetings, and messaging,
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Office Administration: Knowledge of office administration activities; ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of local and remote teams.
  • Microsoft Office: Knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to use the features and functions in Microsoft Office products.

Summary Pay Range:

$28.70 - $51.45

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.
