Job Description:

Opportunity: This Accountant position will provide critical support to the manufacturing facility in the areas of internal control, fixed asset management, financial reporting, and costing. The role is responsible for helping the facility maintain a strong compliance environment while delivering valuable insights to the business. The Accountant will work closely with business and collaborate across functions, including with the global team, to ensure accurate reporting, effective controls, and informed decision-making.

What You Will Do:

• Maintain strong compliance environment including but not limited to regular compliance tasks, support compliance council meetings, and proactively identify potential compliance risk etc.
• Fixed assets management including but not limited to capital forecast, capital management, and related compliance requirement etc.
• Provide accurate, consistent, and timely financial analysis and reporting.
• Lead annual standard cost revision and daily costing analysis.
• Prepare legal entity price analysis and maintain transfer price in the system.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
• Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes.
• Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
• Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.

What Will Set You Apart:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with strong understanding of accounting processes and systems. Experience with internal control is preferred.
• Professional certification such as CMA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and in a multicultural environment
• Good command of English, both written and spoken

• Location for this role is Lingang, Pudong, Shanghai. Shuttle bus provided.
