Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Accountant (Statutory) to join Stat. Reporting CoE – Global Finance Services Division.

The incumbent would be accountable for supporting High Integrity Financial Reporting and Transfer Pricing

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore Office, KA-India

What you will do


Financial Reporting

  • Preparation of Financial Statements and audit schedules needed for the Legal Entity to comply with regulatory requirements of the Local GAAP and other compliance obligations.
  • Analysis of financial results to arrive at meaningful conclusions
  • Understand and perform Audit adjustments based on GAAP differences and signficance of the transactions; Reconcilition of local GAAP & US GAAP records
  • Support filing of statutory reports with assistance from legal teams

Project Management

  • Lead statutory audits by ensuring timely provision of information ;
  • Lead discussions with other functional groups to compile and review all financial information required for Financial Statements and audit validations
  • Resolving audit questions and managing discussions independently / with limited support and guide others with respect to preparation and presentation of financials

Support Transfer Pricing

  • The Incumbent will work with Tax groups (both Direct and Indirect) to assist them with specific requests on data / information feed that involve statutory reports to meet with tax compliances (Assessments/ Audits/ Transfer Pricing, etc).
  • Execution of intercompany pricing updates for complex product lines or high‑volume entities
  • Perform root‑cause analysis of recurring pricing and invoicing issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Support audit and compliance reviews by providing explanations and evidence
  • Advisor to the business on matters concerning local statutory requirements
    Business & Regulatory Acumen
  • Strong knowledge of latest regulations that impact statutory reporting
  • Establish close connects with business / operations teams and stay on top of business changes.

What you will have

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of experience/ Semi qualified with 10-12 years experience in managing statutory audits
  • Experience in accounting in US GAAP & IFRS (or FRS of any country in Asia) is preferred
  • Experience in SAP or other ERP is preferred
  • Knowledge of Compliances relating to Taxes / Secretarial / trade /Currency will be an added advantage but not mandatory
  • Strong Communication and inter-personal skills required
  • Experience with Stakeholder Management is a plus
  • This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.
