We’re seeking a highly collaborative, results-driven professional to lead two critical areas—Social Content & Community Management and Campaign Creative Ownership—driving brand awareness, engagement, and customer growth.
Role Summary
Within Caterpillar’s Rental and Used (R&U) division, this role is critical to connecting customer insight with content and campaign execution—driving measurable impact through SEO-aligned content and scalable marketing assets that support dealer growth in rental revenue, customers, and market coverage.
This role leads the development and execution of a social content strategy grounded in customer behavior, SEO insights, and business priorities. You will create and manage high-quality, engaging content that drives demand, strengthens brand presence, and supports customer acquisition—especially among small and emerging customers—while ensuring alignment with how customers search and engage digitally.
You will own content creation end-to-end, manage social channels, and build an active, engaged community. You will also support broader marketing campaigns by defining content needs, partnering with agencies to deliver scalable, high-quality assets, and ensuring alignment with customer needs and brand standards. This includes enabling the dealer network with ready-to-use marketing assets that drive consistent, compelling Cat® Rentals brand execution across markets.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned to business goals and customer growth priorities, using SEO and customer insights to inform content direction
Create, publish, and manage high-quality social content (graphics, video, posts) and oversee planning, scheduling, and performance tracking via platforms like Sprout Social
Drive active community engagement by monitoring and responding to comments, messages, and mentions
Partner with agencies and SMEs to develop campaign creative, refine messaging, and deliver dealer-ready toolkits that ensure consistent Cat Rentals brand execution
Own end-to-end campaign execution, including stakeholder alignment, timelines, budget management, and on-time delivery of assets
Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics (engagement, reach, traffic, conversions) and continuously optimize content and strategy based on insights
Manage agency relationships and support cross-functional collaboration across marketing, digital, SEO, and dealer teams

Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
3+ years of experience in social media or digital marketing, including creating and producing digital content (graphics, video, social assets)
Experience with social/content management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social) and Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools
Strong communication skills and experience working with external agencies
Experience developing content or campaign strategies and understanding SEO/content discoverability
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills with ability to balance strategy and execution
Additional Information:
This position is located in Peoria, IL.
Relocation assistance is available.
This role requires 40% travel.
Summary Pay Range:
$112,710.00 - $169,060.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
