Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior IT Analyst Applications (Senior .NET Developer) to join our Applications Development & Intelligence Automation -CAT IT Division

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office, KA-India

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET technologies
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Contribute to application design and integration across systems
• Develop APIs, services, and user interfaces for scalable applications
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure quality and performance
• Work with cross-functional teams to build and enhance solutions
• Support system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Contribute to reusable components, common frameworks, and development standards
• Participate in Agile development processes (Scrum) including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives

Assist in modernizing legacy applications and supporting migration efforts

What you will have

• 6–10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise application development
• Strong experience with .NET technologies (.NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC, C#)
• Experience working with REST APIs and web services (SOAP/REST)
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Angular 8+, Razor or React is a plus)
• Experience with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum) environments
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Azure cloud services is a plus
• Experience with SSRS/RDLC reporting is a plus
• Knowledge of multi-tier application architecture
• This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office.

Software Product Testing: Knowledge of software product testing; ability to design, plan, and execute testing strategies and tactics to ensure software product quality and adherence to stated requirements.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Participates in test readiness reviews, functional, volume, and load testing.
• Describes key features and aspects of a specific testing discipline or methodology.
• Tests software components for compliance with functional requirements and design specifications.
• Explains procedures for documenting test activities and results (e.g. errors, non-conformance, etc.)
• Conducts functional and performance testing on aspects of assigned products.
