We are looking for a Digital Twin Chief Engineer to play a critical role in our modern manufacturing transformation at CRTT.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership for the design, development, implementation, and lifecycle management of Digital Twin solutions across manufacturing systems, products, and processes. You will connect advanced technology, data, AI, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to deliver measurable improvements in operational efficiency, quality, and safety.

What You Will Do

• Lead the design, development, implementation, and ongoing management of Digital Twin solutions for manufacturing systems and processes.
• Partner closely with Enterprise Capability Owners (ECO) to guide Digital Twin transformation and ensure technology solutions align with business and operational priorities.
• Design and maintain scalable, AI-enhanced Digital Twin solutions that enable real-time analytics and actionable insights.
• Translate business and manufacturing requirements into robust application, data, and platform architecture solutions.
• Drive integration and consistency of data across digital manufacturing solutions.
• Lead a portfolio of digital transformation and Lean Six Sigma projects focused on improving efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Champion Lean Six Sigma methodologies and support the development of local Green Belt and Black Belt capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership for solution architecture, design reviews, technology selection, and complex problem-solving.
• Partner across functions to turn manufacturing challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts, recommendations, and transformation priorities effectively across different levels of the organization.

What You Have

Digital Twin & Solution Architecture

• Strong knowledge of Digital Twin concepts and their application to physical systems, manufacturing processes, or products.
• Experience designing scalable application architectures that address performance, reliability, and business requirements.
• Ability to translate business requirements and logical models into practical technical designs.

Data & Platform Architecture

• Strong understanding of data architecture, data integration, and platform architecture.
• Experience developing architecture approaches that connect data resources with business and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to evaluate technologies, tools, components, and architectural approaches for complex digital solutions.

Analytics & Problem Solving

• Advanced analytical thinking with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
• Experience applying statistical, quantitative, business analytics, or predictive modeling techniques to support decision-making.
• Ability to translate data and analytics into actionable business and operational improvements.

Lean Six Sigma & Transformation Leadership

• Strong understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles and structured problem-solving.
• Experience leading improvement or transformation projects across multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to manage project portfolios and build continuous-improvement capabilities within an organization.

Communication & Technical Leadership

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical, operational, and business stakeholders.
• Experience providing technical direction, coaching, and guidance to cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Digital Twin, digital manufacturing, smart manufacturing, or related digital transformation solutions within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong experience in application, data, and/or platform architecture, including translating business and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience working with data integration, analytics, and digital technologies to improve manufacturing or operational performance.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technical, digital transformation, or process improvement projects across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and translate data into actionable solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical, operational, and business teams.
• Ability to provide technical leadership, influence decision-making, and guide cross-functional teams through transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, developing, or deploying Digital Twin solutions for manufacturing systems, equipment, products, or processes.
• Experience applying AI, advanced analytics, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling to manufacturing or operational use cases.
• Experience working with real-time manufacturing data, connected systems, and scalable digital architectures.
• Experience leading a portfolio of digital transformation and Lean Six Sigma projects with measurable improvements in efficiency, quality, or safety.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent demonstrated experience leading Six Sigma improvement projects.
• Experience coaching or developing Lean Six Sigma Green Belts and Black Belts.
• Experience partnering with enterprise and cross-functional technology teams to drive process consistency and data integration.
• Experience providing technical guidance, architecture leadership, or design reviews for complex digital solutions.
