The Role:
- In this role you will exercise decision-making authority to prepare, review, book, and fund financial transactions while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence. You will serve as a key contributor within the financial operations team by reviewing transaction documentation, coordinating funding activities, maintaining data integrity, and supporting internal and external stakeholders.
What You Will Do:
Financial Transaction Processing
- Prepare, review, validate, and fund financial transactions.
- Ensure transactions are accurately documented and correctly entered into systems of record.
- Verify transaction completeness and compliance before funding authorization.
- Maintain transaction integrity throughout the funding lifecycle.
Documentation & Compliance
- Collect, review, and validate corporate documents, signing authority documentation, and supporting records.
- Ensure legal enforceability of financial transactions.
- Identify missing or inaccurate documentation and coordinate resolution efforts.
- Support internal audit and compliance requirements as needed.
Funding Operations
- Coordinate workflow activities associated with transaction funding processes.
- Collaborate with operations, legal, credit, sales, and dealer partners to facilitate funding execution.
- Monitor transaction pipelines and proactively address process bottlenecks.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate recurring and ad hoc transaction, funding, and portfolio reports.
- Analyze transaction data for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain reporting metrics and operational tracking tools.
- Provide information to dealers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Stakeholder Support
- Build strong relationships with dealers, vendors, customers, and internal business partners.
- Respond to questions regarding funding status, documentation requirements, and transaction processing.
- Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining operational controls.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience will be considered.
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, banking operations, equipment finance, commercial finance, loan documentation, funding operations, transaction processing, contract administration, or related business operations environments.
- Experience utilizing financial systems, reporting tools, and enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle, CapitalStream, or similar CRM and financial management systems.
- Strong customer focus with a demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional service and build trusted relationships with customers, dealers, vendors, and internal business partners.
- Proven ability to apply a customer-backed, solutions-oriented approach to problem resolution while balancing business objectives, operational requirements, and customer needs.
- Working knowledge of lending, leasing, credit, or commercial finance environments preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits:
Summary Pay Range:
$94,728.00 - $151,572.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
