Job Summary:
Performs various accounting tasks in support of the Analytics CoE (Center of Excellence).
What you will do:
Possible areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Support the cost monitoring process for machines and components produced at Caterpillar.
Support analysis for component source changes and other comparative studies.
Support the SCR (Standard Cost Revision) process
Support improvement projects related to Caterpillar's strategic business, including automation and other initiatives.
What you will have:
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Flexibility and Adaptability: Knowledge of successful approaches and techniques for dealing with change; ability to adapt to a changing environment and be comfortable with change.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Basic requirements:
Bachelor’s degree completed or currently in progress (expected graduation by mid-2027).
Knowledge of financial analysis, cost management, and product structure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Pre-Advanced English level, with the ability to participate in daily interactions with global teams, including meetings, presentations, and written communication.
Top candidates will also have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
Advanced proficiency in analytical, automation, and digital tools, including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, VBA, Python, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications.
Demonstrated experience driving process improvements and leading cross-functional initiatives and projects.
Advanced to Fluent English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders in a dynamic international environment.
