We are looking for a Senior Product Application Specialist - Wide Body Trucks to join our Product, Services & Technology team working within one of the Constructions Industries newly formed divisions, Customer Solutions Growth Regions.

About Customer Solutions Growth Regions Division
This team, alongside dealers, engages closely with customers to create, customize and adapt solutions to meet their needs by leveraging the extensive range of offerings available today across products and services, digital and technology, rental and used, and financing.
The division is regionally focused on Africa, the Middle East, Eurasia, Asia (excluding Japan), and Latin America (LATAM) and organized into three functional areas: Customer Facing, Customer Solutions and Business Enablers.
This role is part of the Customer Solutions team focused on designing and delivering solutions in the areas of product, services and technology. The role will:
Support Field Teams, Dealers & Customer with deep Product and Services expertise.
Focus Product, Services & Technology development on solving customer problems at the segment and site level.
Drive proactive Technology Adoption and Product & Services health management leveraging data insights from connected field population.
Role Definition:
Serve as Caterpillar's global deep expert for the Wide Body Truck portfolio, helping customers, dealers, and regional teams deliver winning fleet solutions. This role bridges product strategy, customer needs, and sales execution, while influencing future product development and portfolio direction.
What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):
Lead application support for major Wide Body Truck opportunities globally, helping customers maximize productivity, safety, and total value.
Provide technical, commercial, and competitive expertise to dealers and sales teams throughout the sales cycle.
Conduct customer visits, fleet studies, and jobsite assessments to identify growth opportunities and improve customer outcomes.
Capture and consolidate Voice of Customer insights and translate them into product improvements, new features, and future product requirements.
Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and PINS performance to identify growth opportunities and portfolio gaps.
Support New Product Introductions, and portfolio planning initiatives.
Develop and deliver product and application training to Caterpillar and dealer teams worldwide.
Collaborate closely with Product Groups, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and regional business teams to drive global business growth.
What You Have (Basic Skills Required):

Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience in heavy equipment, construction, quarry, mining, or related industries.
Experience with truck, loading, quarry, or mining applications.
Strong understanding of fleet productivity and customer operations.
Experience working with dealers, customers, and global cross-functional teams.
Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical solutions into customer value.
Demonstrated leadership, influence, and presentation skills.
Additional Information:
Approximately 50% travel may be required (domestic & International)
Relocation will not be supported
