The company delivers locomotives and engines, trackwork, signaling, fasteners, and comprehensive locomotive and freight car services, along with aftermarket parts and recycling. About the Role

Are you a strategic and commercially driven leader with a proven track record of delivering operational excellence, business growth, and high-performing teams?

We are seeking an experienced General Manager, Indonesia Operations to lead our Indonesian business and drive sustainable growth, operational performance, and customer success. Reporting to the Managing Director, Asia Pacific, this executive leadership role is responsible for the overall performance, profitability, and strategic direction of our operations across Indonesia, including Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Safety functions.

As General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Indonesian operations, strengthening customer relationships, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking leader who can balance strategic objectives with day-to-day operational performance while inspiring teams to achieve exceptional outcomes

About You

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management or Business discipline.

· Minimum 10 years' operational leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

· Proven experience leading diverse, multi-site operations.

· Strong commercial acumen with responsibility for Profit & Loss (P&L) performance.

· Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills.

· Demonstrated success leading operational improvement and transformation initiatives.

· Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capability.

· Strong knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and continuous improvement principles.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Sound understanding of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements

· Experience within rail, mining, heavy industry, engineering, or industrial services sectors.

· Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement qualifications.

· Experience in sales, business development, or technical sales environments.

· Exposure to international or multi-country operations.

· Demonstrated success delivering business growth, market expansion, and organizational change programs

Responsibilities of the Position

· Lead and oversee all operations across Indonesia to achieve business, financial, and operational objectives.

· Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion through strong customer and commercial leadership.

· Ensure excellence in safety, quality, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain performance.

· Build and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

· Strengthen customer relationships and ensure delivery of exceptional products and services.

· Lead operational improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency, and business performance.

· Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.

· Contribute to the long-term strategic growth and success of the Indonesian business.
