Job Summary:
The Large Power Systems Division currently has an opening for a Manager-Engineering for the Core Component Heads, Blocks and Housings Components team. You will lead a team of engineers to develop, validate and maintain components and technologies aligned to New Product Introduction (NPI), New Technology Introduction (NTI), Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) and New Source Introduction (NSI) programs. Additionally, you will provide leadership to drive collaboration across Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain process.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and development of global design engineering team.
- Onsite engineering leadership and support for manufacturing facility
- Delivering NPI, NTI, NSI, CPI, and Cost Reduction programs to time, cost, and quality targets
- Refining and progressing component and technology strategies for design control
- Active engagement with the Supplier Development and Purchasing teams to develop and manage sourcing strategies and supplier capability to meet quality and cost targets
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.

- Introduces methods, tools, and technologies that accelerate and simplify the development process.
- Oversees the development and lifecycle management of multiple, diverse products or services.
Top Candidates also have:
- Master´s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical or related.
- Certification in Project Management
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt)
Additional Information:
- Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon.
- This position is five-day a week in-office model.
- This position may require up to 15% travel. (international and domestic)
