As an HR Generalist, you will serve as a trusted partner to leaders and employees in the Global Services and Dealer Aftermarket Organizations in PSLD by assisting the HR Business Partner and Senior Manager Human Resources in providing guidance on talent, employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. In this dynamic role, you'll help shape a positive employee experience while supporting business goals through thoughtful people solutions and proactive workforce strategies.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with leaders to drive talent, engagement, performance, and workforce initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on employee relations matters, policy interpretation, and best HR practices.
  • Support talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and retention efforts.
  • Help lead organizational and people-related change initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce trends and recommend solutions that support business objectives.
  • Foster an inclusive, positive workplace culture where employees can grow and succeed.
  • Build trusted relationships across the organization and serve as a key resource for employees and leaders.
  • Make recommendations to senior management on issues concerning employees, recruiting, turnover or training.
  • Administer compensation programs; monitoring performance evaluation programs and revising as necessary.
  • Conduct organizational effectiveness assessments and recommend programs to address issues

What You Will Have:

  • Education : Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations
  • Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
  • Human Resources Consulting: Knowledge of HR approaches, tools and techniques; ability to inform, guide and advise managers in HR-related initiatives.
  • Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.

Summary Pay Range:

$97,530.00 - $146,290.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
