We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Human Resources Manager in our Arvin, CA facility. Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD, as within all of Caterpillar, our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. PSLD is responsible for the worldwide distribution of Cat aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, and global service to develop and support our global dealer network and customers. As an HR Manager, you will have the opportunity to make impact across the business by implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives, providing guidance on HR policies and practices, and fostering a culture of employee engagement and development. What you will do:
Collaborating with management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
Leading the people strategy for the facility and fostering a culture of teamwork.
Aligning HR policies and programs for the business to promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, compensation, benefits, etc.
Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
What you will have:
HR experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organization's vision, structure, culture, philosophy, operating principles, values, and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations in employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Work Schedule Flexibility: Ability to flex work schedule both early and late as necessary to support multiple shift operation.

This role will be located in our Arvin, CA office
This role requires 5 days a week in office

Summary Pay Range:
$97,530.00 - $146,290.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
