Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications to join India CAT IT Division
The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore PSN Office, KA-India
What you will do
- We are seeking an Associate Business Systems Analyst to support finance and tax-related enterprise applications, including Vertex O Series and ERP financial systems.
- This role will work closely with Finance, Tax, and IT teams to assist with application support, testing, documentation, issue analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- This position is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build expertise in enterprise applications, financial systems, and business process analysis.
- Support day-to-day operations of finance and tax applications, including Vertex O Series and ERP systems.
- Assist in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
- Execute system, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
- Analyze and document application issues, working with senior team members to support resolution.
- Create and maintain process documentation, test scripts, training materials, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to support application enhancements.
- Participate in application upgrades, deployments, and maintenance activities.
- Monitor application performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Follow established IT service management and change management processes
What you will have
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.\
- 1–3 years of experience supporting business applications, ERP systems, or finance-related technology solutions.
- Exposure to or coursework/certification in Vertex O Series preferred.
- Basic understanding of ERP finance processes and modules (Infor LN, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
The position requires all 5 days work from office.
Preferred Skills:

Experience supporting tax, finance, or accounting applications.
Familiarity with software testing methodologies and defect management processes.
Understanding of system integrations and data flows between enterprise applications.
Knowledge of ITIL concepts and support processes.

• Supports the project leader in developing and executing system test plans.
• Evaluates system documentation and user manuals for usability, accuracy and completeness.
• Executes test cases, analyzes test results and reports on findings regularly.
• Tests system components for compliance with functional requirements.
• Participates in the testing of a system's ability to recover from hardware or software failures.
